| The service |
The insurer is Lloyd’s Syndicate 1231. Claims are handled by the Administrator, Sheraton Services, who can be contacted on the following telephone number: 01789 451727. Please keep a note of this number in case you need to make a claim.
Like all policies, there are some things this insurance does not cover. These include:
- If you do not report a theft to the police and air time provider within 24 hours
- If your phone is stolen from a motor vehicle unless the vehicle is securely locked and the phone concealed from view
- If your phone is stolen from your person unless physical force or violence is used
- Where the phone disappears mysteriously or without explanation, or is stolen from a building without force and violence being used
- Theft or damage caused by your deliberate acts or lack of precautions, mechanical or electrical breakdown or wear and tear
- Any consequential loss of any nature
Please note:
- You'll need to obtain a Police Crime Reference Number in the case of theft.
- There is an excess of £25 for your first claim and £40 thereafter.

| Cancellation |
You can cancel your insurance within the 3 months free period without premium being charged, or at any time thereafter, by contacting the administrator (telephone: 01789 451 727).

| Payment |
The Administrator will only take payment for ToucanMobile Insurance via Direct Debit. Your first payment will commence in 3 months' time, and you will be sent a letter confirming the details and advising the date of the first collection within a few days of the sale. Please note the name which appears on your bank statement next to the collection will be “IDT Direct Ltd ToucanMobile Ins (to be confirmed).”
Please note:
- Your details will be stored on computer by Sheraton Services for the purpose of administering the insurance policy.
- Please be advised that you will receive your full policy documentation (wording, schedule and key facts) within the next couple of days together with a letter confirming your Direct Debit.
